B&J Consulting Engineers, Inc.

Was founded in October 2004 to offer architects, contractors and developers a wide range of structural engineering services including structural design, peer review, site inspections, and value engineering reviews. Since our inception, our company has been involved in the design and/or review of several projects from high-rise buildings to high-end custom homes.

The company uses state-of-the-art aid programs and tools that improve and expedite the analysis and design of projects. With these tools, we can provide in-depth evaluations of different structures and their specific components.  Additionally, we are prepared to perform preliminary sizing and define the schematic structure for preliminary budgeting.

Our design experience encompasses high-rise and low-rise buildings with diverse structural systems that include post-tensioned slabs, reinforced slabs, concrete shear walls, concrete frames, pre-stressed concrete, steel frames, aluminum structures, light gage framing, deep foundations, reinforced masonry, timber framing, trusses and others.  This inventory of knowledge allows us to offer a broader spectrum of opportunities from which our clients will benefit in the decision making while choosing and specific construction system.

Our design department is led by highly trained engineers with extensive experience in the design of structures in hurricane prone and seismic zones.  We also offer wide-ranging knowledge in the design of buildings including high rises.
